The 2006 Antique Auction
went very well netting the
Society $13,425 out of sales
exceeding $50,000. The
weather was wet, but that
didn’t stop those interested
in excellent antiques. We
had over 100 bidders for the
day. The success is a
reflection of the hard work
of the committee chaired by
Donna Henrikson and Henry &
Janet von Wodtke, the many
volunteers, consignors and
several consignors who
gifted their items. I would
also like to give special
thanks to Gil Tyler & Anne
O’Connor who went out and
evaluated all the
consignments in addition to
many other duties,
Auctioneer Joe Kabe, Wine
donated by Jeff & Deb
Werner, Flowers donated &
arranged by Harry White, and
Security and traffic by Bob
DiBella and Mike Roberts.
Our
next Auction is Sat. May 17,
2008.
